Flower Girls - Cow Painting

Friends are often the inspiration for my paintings. A good friend sent me an image from her travels as she knows I love painting cows. I really loved the movement in the legs and the quirky nature of the subject matter. I can just see the big old mother being stern and grumpy while the younger ones in orange and pick are far more frivolous.
