Hello Polly the Macaw - Bird Painting

I don't often get to go to a zoo but visiting Harewood House there was a small zoo area. There were the macaws and penguins that caught my attention. This lovely bird is painted from one of my own photos and the flowers are from my imagination as he would have destroyed those in a moment.

Harewood sits in the heart of Yorkshire and is one of the Treasure Houses of England. The House was built in the 18th century and has art collections to rival the finest in Britain.

Visitors can enjoy exhibitions of contemporary art, rare Bird Garden, Farm Experience and over 100 acres of exquisite gardens to explore.
