Two wise men and a wise women.

I am never one to follow tradition so when I came to paint my nativity scene I chose to include a women. The gifts are also updated with money for security, a candle for eternal life, and a teddy bear for love. The shepherds ride motorbikes and are wearing hoodies. Mary and Joseph are hipsters with the aspects of the London skyline in the distance. The angel would give you nightmares! This the modern story as part of my Artist in Residence for St Johns Church in Peterborough and was painted for Christmas 2013.Wishing you all a very Happy Christmas and new Year.
