As an artist I am aware of various trends but keeping up with fashion is another game altogether. The best advice you you follow is to paint what you love. This has never been truer for me this year in painting my flowers. The weather has come out all guns blazing and I have been able to wear shorts for the last month! I thought I was daft when I bought my new shorts and came out the shop to sleet and snow but they definitely getting there moneys worth. Im busy painting large Dutch Irises at the moment but you need to wait to see that.
