Stories are bred by experience

Last year we went for a walk with Citizen Power. A few of us were asked to lead for a short time and say a few words. I spoke of drawing with your eyes closed and had also planted some of my wire cows on route.  On this walk we went down Cromwell Rd and this is when we came upon this group. I used sign language to ask if they minded if I took the photo. I got the thumbs up and a quick snap turned into a great composition. I have loved the energy of this photo for some time but wanted to make the image my own. Working with both urban landscapes and figures, this has given me the perfect excuse to combine the styles, keeping the loose feel but capturing the attitude of the boys.(work in progress - watch this space)
